community development project for promoting gender equality and empowerment of women We decided to start a community development project to promote gender and Empowerment of women in our locality nowadays one of the main topics on daily news is gender equality and Empower of women .to make a Study about it we conducted survey in the 21st division of our municipality The main findings was that of the pettiness of widows of the place almost all of them where suffering from mentel health problems and lack of money The kudumbashree mission helps for their livelihood and wealth problems of some widows .In trace of local self help group they can formulate their own agenda and priorities this leads to an increase in confidence of those women and that can lead a happy life
