Clean Energy for the Pink & Blue Spirit
The Scout Go Solar activity aims to inspire young people to recognize the importance of clean energy and take an active role in environmental sustainability through hands-on learning about solar energy.
This initiative is supported by the Global Youth Mobilization, funded by the European Union, empowering youth to become leaders of positive change toward a sustainable future.
The Scout Go Solar project was implemented during the 30th SuanKularb Scout Jamboree, engaging both Scout youth and Scout leaders in interactive learning activities.
Key activities included Solar Cooking, Solar Energy, Solar Toy, Solar Absorption, Sundial, Water Filtration, SODIS (Solar Water Disinfection) and Solar Art, providing hands-on experience and practical knowledge on renewable energy.
A Sustainable Conclusion Integrating "Scouts Go Solar" into the jamboree provided more than just academic knowledge. It proved that Suankularb students are ready to be Change Agents for the environment, leading their schools and society toward a sustainable future.
