Blood Donation

It's the last day of the Ramadhan month (the Muslim fasting month) and more often than not, it is during this period of the year where our Muslim brothers and sisters fasts, the National Blood Centre is in need of blood donors to keep the blood supply level up in cases of emergencies. Donating blood is a virtuous and noble deed because, for every one donor, he/she can save up to 3 lives. This quarterly activity with the Petaling "H" Rover Scout Crew has been a long standing must have activity in the crew as it brings along new friendship bonds as every donors' deed is the same regardless of their ethnicity or gender. As for today, together with the Rover Crew's Scout Leaders a total of 20 people has turned up to at the National Blood Centre at about 0915 hours, to start filling the necessary forms and proceed then proceed to donate a minimum of 1 bag of blood to the Blood Centre. Whilst some were not able to donate due lack of body mass, they were there to support the activity. Nonetheless, those who were unable to donate this round hope to be able to donate in the next blood donation drive. Kudos to the Rovers who organised this activity!
