BEAUTIFICATION WORKS AT LOCAL TEMPLE
The two things that inspired me to do this kind of community service are as follows: 1. From my passion of helping others. 2.By observing some of the seniors who shows better personalities in their community works.
During morning, we gathered at the national scout training ground. The camp coordinators divided us into several groups for community service at Lhakhang. After we reached at our area, we modified the flower garden of the Lhakhang which was below the Rinpung Dzong. Not only that, we also swept, thrown out the trash cans and cleaned the surrounding of the Lhakhang. At the end of our work, we returned to our campsite through school bus.
From this community service, I learned protecting our Mother Nature proportionally helps in preserving Bhutanese Unique Culture. Not only that, I also learned doing this kind of community service helps in promoting leadership quality
