His Majesty the King of Bhutan visited Punakha Central School on .... and granted a picnic for the entire family of the school which the school decided to have on the 5th of April 2019. In order to celebrate the day, both staff and students took part in making the day a memorable one. A total of 35 students (boys & girls) of grade 12 and 2 teachers were delegated to prepare chilli pickle for the entire 800 members of the school.

The students and the teachers started the process of pickle preparation by 6.30 pm- 9.30 pm on 4th April 2019. the process includes collection of the ingredients and the equipment needed, washing, cleaning, chopping, grinding. The final touch was done on the morning of 5th April 2019 for a little more than half an hour.

It has contributed in team building and cooperation, mutual understanding, working with full dedication and having fun with friends.
