29 Days of Change: Scouts Transform Malawi
Seeing littered streets, blocked drains, and stagnant water increasing the risk of malaria pushed me to act.
As a Scout, I led the mission to make Lilongwe and Nsanje, healthier, and safer.
My goal was simple: protect lives, fight disease, and inspire youth to take responsibility for our environment.
For 29 days in Lilongwe, I led from the front, cleaning streets, unblocking drains, and planting trees.
I organized daily plans, guided volunteers, and engaged the community on hygiene and care.
Fully self-funded, our 10 Scout team transformed the area and inspired action.
I learned that leading from the front motivates others, and that consistent effort, teamwork, and community engagement are essential for lasting impact.
