Tanzania Scouts for a Cleaner Coastline.
My project was about cleaning the beach at Maga Beach in Dar es Salaam. As a Scout, I organized this activity with the aim of protecting the environment and raising awareness among the community
I mobilized fellow Scouts and community members to participate. Together, we collected waste, sorted recyclable materials, and educated people on the importance of keeping the beach clean. Despite limited resources, teamwork made the project successful.
Results (impact):
he project had a great impact. The beach became cleaner and safer, and local residents appreciated our efforts. It also inspired more young people to take action in protecting our environment.
This experience taught me the importance of leadership, community engagement, and persistence. Small actions, when done together, can bring big
