Soroti main prisons has abig number of prisoners,with 98% in these prisons being youth of the age 19 to 35years,in most cases these prisoners are idle not engaged in a productive activities,meaning these prisoners at the end ,may not helped much to transform positively to feet society after serving their sentence in prisons For that reason The O.C prisons decided to organise afootball tournament to keep the prisoners engaged positively with each ward choosing the players to play the tournament. its happens the ward 9 has been the scouts ward.we has been cheering them since the tournament begun and yesterday was the final March. After the Soroti OC football final match yesterday at Soroti Prisons between Ward 9 (Scouts) and Ward 11, the Scouts won the game with two goals to nil. They got lots of prices from the OC and we (the Scouts) equally gave them a goat, two crates of soda, two cartons of water, Ushs. 50,000, and also offered a public address system (Chap Chap Events) during the celebration date. The entire leadership of the soroti main prisons more so the O.C prisons ,said in his own words that he wants to be a scout.
