On National Youth Day 2024 (November 1st), the "Parishkar Parikalpan Ovijan" (Cleanliness Planning Campaign) was launched at Dhaka's Rampura-Jirani Canal. This nationwide initiative, led by the Ministry of Youth and Sports with various partners, aimed to clean one water body in each of Bangladesh's 64 districts. Hundreds of volunteers, including many scouts, actively participated in the Rampura event, showcasing a strong youth-led effort to restore vital waterways and promote environmental awareness for a cleaner Bangladesh.
