I was inspired by the need to keep my scouting knowledge and skills up to date. As a scout leader, I wanted to refresh the basics, learn new methods, and share ideas with fellow leaders. Participating in the BULT refresher course would help me guide our scouts with greater confidence, and strengthen scouting in our school.

Through the BULT refresher course, I learned that scouting skills need regular renewal to stay effective. Revisiting the basics strengthened my confidence, while exchanging ideas with fellow leaders gave me fresh methods and perspectives. I also learned that continuous learning makes us better mentors, and that sharing experiences strengthens the whole scouting community.

After learning about the BULT refresher course, I applied and received approval from my school management. I arranged my duties and attended the sessions, taking part in discussions, group activities and skill revisions. I exchanged ideas with fellow leaders and, on returning, planned to apply the updated methods in our school scout activities.
