ডেঙ্গু প্রতিরোধে সচেতনতা এবং লিফলেট বিতরণ
Awareness and distribution of leaflets on dengue prevention.
Dengue fever is caused by the dengue virus and is transmitted by the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. When a mosquito carrying the dengue virus bites a person, that person becomes infected with dengue fever within four to six days (3-13 cases).
Keeping in mind the slogan "One day in three days, throw away the stagnant water", awareness leaflets on dengue will be distributed to all houses under the supervision of scouts and leaders. Scouts will provide all-round cooperation in the cleanliness drive including identifying Aedes mosquito larvae in different parts of the house and destroying them.
We need to know that with this rain comes the fear of infection like dengue. Dengue usually occurs from July to October. It occurs more before summer and during the rainy season. Dengue fever outbreaks are mostly seen from March to June. Most people get sick in April. Then, fewer people get sick in June and July. This disease is usually caused by the bite of female Aedes mosquitoes. Every year, a large number of people are infected with this disease. If people do not get proper treatment, people can even die.
