Service Project during Christmas and New Year
Driven by conditions during the peak holiday season, we initiated this project to ensure public safety while crossing the road, even though zebra crossings are already provided. Our goal was to enhance awareness and provide additional support to pedestrians, making their journeys safer during these bustling times.
This was an annual program held by the Scout Regency Council of Yogyakarta City, collaborating with the Police and other stakeholders. Participants from the rover scouts helped the public cross roads safely during the peak holiday season at Christmas and New Year.
Throughout this project, I learned the importance of proactive community engagement and the effectiveness of teamwork. It highlighted the value of thorough planning and adaptability in response to unexpected challenges, enhancing our ability to improve public safety and contribute positively to the community's well-being.
