Scouts Humanitarian Action Natural Disaster

The spirit of the Dasa Dharma, especially "willing to help and be steadfast", encouraged me not only to sympathize, but to take real action. My experience in organizing in the Scouts gave me the confidence to organize friends in this flood relief project. I believe that no matter how small our contribution is, it can be a glimmer of hope for those who are struggling to rise from adversity.

Creating a special team, compiling a project proposal, conducting fundraising, observing the disaster location, preparing the needs of disaster victims, and providing assistance to victims of natural disasters directly.

As a Scout, I learned a lot from the flood disaster. I realized the importance of preparedness, floods come suddenly, but their impact can be minimized with proper planning and knowledge. I saw how strong solidarity is in society. I understood the meaning of serving and supporting others. Finally, I felt the true meaning of devotion. As a Scout, helping flood victims is not just a duty, but a calling of the heart to bring about real change.
