"Scouts for a Cleaner Beach"
We were inspired to start this beach clean-up project by our deep commitment to protecting nature, a core value of the Scout movement. During previous visits to the beach, we noticed a growing amount of litter polluting the shore—plastic bottles, food wrappers, and other waste harming marine life and ruining the natural beauty of the area.
As Scouts, we believe in serving our community and being guardians of the environment.
Planning and Coordination:
The project began with a planning phase where Scouts gathered to discuss the event. Key tasks included identifying the beach area to clean, setting a date, and assigning responsibilities like organizing the clean-up materials (bags, gloves, etc.) and ensuring safety measures.
Teamwork is powerful – Working together with fellow Scouts and volunteers taught us that collaboration makes even big tasks manageable and more enjoyable.
Every small action counts – Even picking up one piece of trash helps. We learned that small efforts, when combined, lead to big changes.
