Relief distribution to flood victims in Comilla.
Many people are dying due to the floods. Many people are losing their homes. People are not getting their daily meals. Their cries have robbed me of sleep at night. Even if I can sleep, the little children have no place to sleep at night, no food.
With the help of 36 Rescue Open Scout Groups and some private funds, and with the help of the general public, we first completed the distribution of food items from Comilla and Rajbari, food, medicine, clothes, milk for children, semolina, husk for cows and food items for 400 families in Burichang Upazila and B-Para Upazila of Comilla.
Standing by humanity is our real responsibility We often get frustrated with the shortcomings and complaints in our own lives. But if we look around a little better, we see that there are people who are suffering much more than us, whose lives are full of pain. This realization teaches us how important it is to be grateful. Therefore, we should always stand by the poor and helpless. Because in the end, we are all human, this is our biggest identity.
