Red Noise Day Collection
Red Nose Day Street Appeal for Cure Kids and needed volunteers. A crew member got in contact with the organiser and for Stewart Rovers who were available to meet her at Briscoes and grab the buckets for collection. When we arrived she was
over the moon that we had arrived and promptly gave us all foam red noses to wear so people
would know who we were collecting for. We set ourselves up in groups of two or three around
Palmerston North CBD and found as by trial and error where we could and couldn’t stand to collect
donations. For an three work, lots of “Yes Scouts is still a thing” type conversations, we made
about $350 for Cure Kids and made Laurel very happy.
