Rath Yatra Service at Kadamtala
I was motivated to serve the community during the Rath Yatra and support devotees by contributing my time and effort. As a Scout, I believe that serving people during important community events is a meaningful way to practice the values of service, discipline, and responsibility.
I participated in the Rath Yatra service activity at Kadamtala with fellow members of the Santragachi Rover Crew. We supported the event by assisting devotees, helping maintain cleanliness, managing the crowd, and providing necessary guidance. We worked as a team and remained disciplined throughout the service.
Through this service project, I learned the importance of teamwork, patience, discipline, and responsible public service. I also improved my communication and leadership skills while interacting with people and working in a busy public environment. The experience strengthened my commitment to the Scout principle of Service Before Self.
