Preventing Roof and Engine Travel
I noticed many people were traveling on the roof and even on the engine of trains, which is extremely dangerous. In the past 15 months, 48 people have lost their lives because of this. It really hurt me to see that, and I felt that if I didn’t do something, more people would be in danger. That’s when I decided to raise awareness.
I started announcing at train stations using loudspeakers, warning passengers about the dangers of traveling on the roof and engine. I encouraged everyone to travel safely inside the train. With the help of the railway authorities, we made sure the rules and safety guidelines were communicated clearly to everyone.
This project taught me how important awareness is in saving lives. When people understand the risks, they make safer choices. I also learned that when we work together, we can solve even the biggest problems.
