Improving the waste management system in Madiwela Special Education School and Home for the youth.

The number of workers in the organization is insufficient to maintain the premises. The differently able youths are also contributing to keep the premises clean. However, most of the youth behavior is uncontrollable and it is very difficult to maintain the premises due to their misbehavior. Waste collection and disposal have not been carried out properly within the premises. Existing waste disposal pit was filled and not utilizing. There is a requirement to clean and enlarge the compost pit to collect compostable waste. Disposal of waste water is also not properly done. They need to clean the existing drainage line to facilitate proper drainage of waste water.

The plants have not been properly pruned. Therefore, pruning of branches of plants to be done. In addition, needs to plant new ornamental plants to improve the aesthetic appearance of the premises.

Therefore, project focus on improving waste management system and cleaning the garden to maintain appropriate landscape.
