Howland Backpack Program
I discovered there are many underprivileged school students in my school district who have little to no food each weekend.
I helped by raising funds within my family. Then, I purchased food items. Then, I helped pack bags of food for 13 weeks to help underprivileged school kids in my school district.
I learned that I can help students in need within my own community have resources to food for the weekend, when they are not in school.
