Helping Hand For Flood Victims
Seeing the suffering of flood-affected families in Noakhali, especially those who lost their homes and access to food and water, inspired us to take action. We wanted to support them with immediate relief and bring hope during a difficult time.
As the Rover Scout Unit Leader, I guided our team in raising funds within our unit to support the flood-affected families. Through dedicated effort, we prepared 1,750 relief packages has essentials. Iteam. These were distributed in Noakhali reaching approximately 2,000 people. The distribution was executed with careful planning and coordination by the members of the Metropolitan University Rover Scout Group, in collaboration with local residents and the police.
As a Rover Scout Leader, this project showed me the true power of collective action and service. It proved that with planning, teamwork, and compassion, we can bring hope even in crisis. It also helped our team grow in leadership, communication, and problem-solving through real-life experience.
