Youth and Scouters wrote letters of support to nursing homes, hospitals and frontline workers during the first wave of Covid-19. The letters were sent digitally in bulk so that there would be no risk of transmitting the virus, and the locations could print as many copies of the letters as was needed to meet their needs. During the month of April, over 100 letters were sent to 7 different locations. The response was positive from those who received the letters, and our youtha nd Scouters got to participate in a valuable service project from the safety of their homes. It was very important to have the youth engaged during this difficult time, and to engage our communities.  - 20th Scarborough West Scout Group
