SCOUTS IN NIGERIA JOIN THE SCOUT WORLD TO CELEBRATE THE WORLD SCARF DAY
Every 1st August, the Scouting World Celebrate the World Scarf Day and celebrate the Anniversary of the First Camp set up by Our World Scout and Founder Lord Baden Powell.
This year marks the 110 years of that even that has grown to become the largest World Youth Voluntary Organization with membership in 165 countries and still counting.
Scouts in Nigeria today joined their counterparts to celebrate THE WORLD SCARF DAY, and across the nation came images of Scouts donning their SCOUT SCARF Proudly and going to their various duties.
Images below were captured as far up North - Maidugri, through Kano and Sokoto across the length and breadth of the nation from Lagos through the southern states of Imo, Anambra Akwa-Ibom down to the Western states of Ogun, Oyo Osun and all.
It was also hallmarked by the Presentation of SERVICE AWARD PLAQUE to the Head of Department of The Diversity Inclusion and Social Impact Apostle Adetola ADENEKAN by The National Youth Council of Nigeria.
