The Oyo State Scout Council celebrated the 2017 International Peace Day through some lecture session, at the Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, Oyo State, on the 21st of September, 2017. The event was witnessed by scouts and non-scouts within and outside the locality of Oyo State. Presentations made were as follows: Scouting as an Institution for Peace Building - Solomon Etim; Secretary African Scout Youth Forum. Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All - AYENA Olugbenga Oladapo Ph. D etc.
