Completing this project was not as hard as I thought, and this has to be done compulsorily fro my Messenger Of Peace badge. My social service project included gardening, watering and caring for the plants and it was completed in the Herbal Garden of the VIharamahadevi Park, Colombo. First I was granted permission from the park and then my paertner and I completed it successfully on 28th January 2021 from 10.00 am - 03.00 pm. I got a lot of differnet experiences such as;

• How to water the plants properly
• How to make a compost bin
• How to weed and maintain a garden
• Other gardening activities

10.00 am - Arrival to the park

10.20 am - Starting to clean and pick up the leaves of the garden

10.45 am - Finished cleaning the garden

10.50 am - Started to clean the garden surroundings from polytrhene, paper, wrappers etc.. for upto 100m

11.30 am - Finished cleaning the garden surroundings 

11.45 am - Started uprooting the weeds

12.30 pm - Finished uprooting the weeds

12.35 pm - Started watering the plants

01.30 pm - Finished watering the plants

01.35 pm - Packed all leaves into garbae bags

02.30 pm - Depositing the dried leaves in the compost bin

02.30 pm - Fixing the name boards of all the herbal plants properly

03.00 pm - Project conclusion

My partner and I finished the project successfully........
