Volunteering in Gelephu Mindfulness project
Under the visionary leadership of His Majesty the fifth Druk Gyalpo , founded the City called GMC. As being Both a leader and a youth , the best we could do to help build the city was volunteer. And was also inspired when we saw the citizens of a nation taking part in the development.
We reached at the location at 9 pm and began to clear out all the forest . At the working site , lots of people around the country about 7000 in number gathered to volunteer. And after seeing those citizens putting in lot of effort helping build the city our king dreamed of made us work even harder with great enthusiasm and pride of getting to volunteer for the development of GMC.
The volunteer was a great experience for a youth like us especially in taking part of national development. Even though we cannot do any big things like others , the best possibly we could do as a scout was to volunteer as it helped us develop a sense of pride and deep commitment to nation.
