CUB scouts of the 1021 Cub Scout Pack from Kampong Mata-Mata Primary School visited the Oil and Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) in Seria, Belait District

Twenty-five Cub Scouts, accompanied by a supervisory teacher and three volunteers, were led by Hajah Nor Rahmat binti Sidin, the Leader of 1021 Cub Scout.

The Cub Scouts participated in activities such as ‘Tornado in the bottles’ and ‘R-Cars Making’. The activities tested the participants’ thinking efficiency, time management and collaboration in group work.

The visit aimed to inculcate the interest of Cub Scouts on the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and provide them the opportunity to know more about OGDC as well as to witness the science exhibition of ‘Bionic Me’.
