Vanmohatsav

Van Mahotsav is a festival which was started by Kulapati Kanaiyalal Munshi, the Union Minister for Agriculture to create enthusiasm among masses for forest conservation and planting trees. It is now become a week-long festival. The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Howrah celebrated Van Mohatsav by planting over 100 Trees in the region. We have undertaken the Sustainable Development Goal 13 - Climate Action in the locality. All the renowned institutions and schools joined us in the programme and actively taken part in the mass plantation of saplings in the area.
