transgender awareness

On the day of ROBERT STEVENSON SMITH BADEN POWELL & his wife OLIVE BADEN POWELL'S birthday 22nd february which is also known as "thinking day" we had organised one awareness programme on "transgender awareness". We, The 24th Ashoka group wants to give a big thanks to Ranjita Sinha Di ,Shivangs da &Mun Di for succeeding the programme. In this programme we had learnt so many precious & valuable things 1.Transgenders are just like us.They look like Human beings they also have emotions, but just because of some people of our society they get emotionally assaulted & brutally hurt & even sometimes they commit suicide. Then why bully them, whenever we see them in signals, train station, bus stand. So it's an earnest request to all off you guys- #stopbullying whenever you see a transgender. So guys let's do one thing, whenever u meet a transgender, click a selfie with them & post on #stopbullying,it will become a movement.Only, we the youth, can do it together. 2.The biggest problem of our society is that they don't accept a transgender as a daughter, brother, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law just because they are affraid of being insulted in society.Transgender feel the physical, biological, hormonal changes & troubles from their school days. So, being a responsibal citizane of our country,we have to educate our children that Transgender is one of our kind & as a family member as well as friend we should accept love & respect from them. because children are tomorrow's youth #support 3.In their daily live, transgender faces so may problems that we can't even think of. they don't get good opportunities for their carreer that's why mostly They are seen in signals, begging for money. So let's take an initiative to talk to them & know about their problems, and also to know about their Field of interest so they can provide service & earn like us Lastly I want to thnks Sobhan da for taking initiations of our awareness programme #24thasokagroup #RoverRanger #Bsg #southcalcutta #Genderquality #sdg5
