Gai Jatra is a ritual celebrated by the Newari people of Nepal on the remembrance of the demise of their family member. Since, Nepal Scout, Sunsari , is always called by the organizer for volunteer in the rally that is organised by Siddhi Newa of Dharan. Scouts from various 40 scouts and 5 scouters served in that programme. More than 500 people had participated in that rally. The scouts and scouters had done volunteer for 5 hours. Due to this service provided by the scouts in the mass the name of scouts has been raised among the people and was highly appreciated by the organizer.
