Scouts planted mangroves

Scouts planted mangroves

From 21 of august until 22,  81 scouts from Suriname, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago planted 185 mangroves in Suriname at a place called Weg naar zee under supervision of Professor Naipal. The reason they planted them is to be aware of climate change and to prevent erosion and also do some community development. All the scouts had fun and are looking forward to do it again en plant even more mangroves.
