This year Cub Scout Pack 480 of Morris, Illinois participated in scouting for food their own special way. Each year we gather at our local grocery store asking for donations for the local food bank. We take pride in knowing that Pack 480 gathers and delivers food, toiletries, hygiene items to the local food bank that will assist families in need. The holiday season is a great time for giving thanks and remembering what’s good about humanity. Providing a hot meal and soap for a clean hot shower for those families that are struggling during the holiday brings warmth to the community knowing that our little pack with a big heart can provide a little service that goes a long way.
