Safe roads are a gift for Eid journey

As a Rover Scout, my inspiration comes from the core values of scouting service to others and being helpful to the community. Before Eid, traffic congestion becomes a major problem for people trying to reach their loved ones. Seeing the struggles of commuters especially families, elderly people, and children motivated me to step forward. For me, it’s not just a duty; it’s a way to give back to the community with sincerity and responsibility."
I executed my project as a Rover Scout by actively participating in traffic management duties before. Along with many other Rovers from my unit and members of Khulna District Rover. Our responsibilities included assisting the traffic police in ensuring pedestrian safety, and helping commuters reach their destinations smoothly during the busy pre-Eid period. Through coordination with the police, we successfully contributed to maintaining order on the roads and serving the community.
Traffic duty before Eid taught me patience, teamwork, and responsibility. I learned to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and work with others to ensure public safety. The experience also strengthened my empathy, discipline, and commitment to serving the community—core values of a Rover Scout.
