Ronald McDonald House Charity Donations

Ronald McDonald House Charity Donations

Brock is a Cub Scout from Roxby Downs Cub Pack, aged 10.  Brock (as part of his Gold Boomerang Badgework) collected 'wish list' items for Ronald McDonald House Charity in Adelaide.  Brock donated over 6 large boxes of donations, including pantry and sanitary items, cleaning products and an electric fryingpan.
Ronald McDonald House strives to keep children with an illness and their families together when accessing health care and support programs.  Situated just a 5 minute walk to the Women's & Children's Hospital in North Adelaide, our House can accommodate up to 20 families in both a communal or self-contained style accommodation. It is a place of care and understanding ~ a place where families can remain together as a family unit in times of great stress and uncertainty.  Ronald McDonald House provides a safe place for people who have to leave their extended family, friends and community support network for treatment programs which can be long with Ronald McDonald House becoming home for months. For others, treatment can be life long with regular shorter stays. Whatever the need, these families find friendship, advocacy and support here with Ronald McDonald House being their safe haven.
