Return Flight Support for Hajj Pilgrims
As a Rover Scout, I have always believed in "Service to Humanity is Service to God."Seeing the struggles of elderly and sick pilgrims during their return journey from Hajj deeply moved me.I was motivated to take part in this project to ease their pain and provide comfort and guidance during this critical time.Through this initiative, I aimed to live out the core values of Scouting—compassion, duty, and leadership.
I served in the third shift for seven consecutive days. Our responsibilities included guiding Hajj pilgrims on the correct path, managing crowds, distributing Zamzam water, assisting with luggage, and helping recover lost items. We also provided other necessary support when required. We regularly participated in daily briefings, worked as a team, and responded promptly in emergency situations.
Through this project, I learned how to serve people with empathy, patience, and teamwork in real-life situations.
I also gained practical experience in leadership and quick decision-making.
