With the Global theme "Think equal, build smart, innovaye for change", chukha Central school celebrated women's day to pay respect to our mothers on this world.
Objectivs of celebrating such day are:
1. To achieve full gender equality 
2. To protect our womens from various violence inside and outside 
3. Help them to participate in any activities in the society.

The day was marked,calling lady teachers and student representatives on the stage to pay deepest respect for being harmonious and helpful friend in the society. Cake was cut  to show appreciation, Gesture and importance of women in this world.
The program was followed skit on " Stop Violence against women and Gender equality" and Madam Jamyang Choden, highlighted on the day and role of the mother.
The Club coordinators screened Documentary about the Importance of women.

All the lady teachers, came in purple dress to show that they are women and had crucial role in the society. The colour also signify Justice and dignity.
