Swachh Bharath Abhiyan is a campaign in India that aims to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of India's cities, smaller towns, and rural areas. Aiming to achieve the success of the Swachh Bharath Abhiyan I have participated in Railway Station Cleaning Program on 28 January 2018. I have been participating in this program since 16 months. This is the 22 month of Cleanliness Drive in our district. About 21 Scouts and Guides, Rovers and Rangers have participated in this event and made this event a great success. The Bharat Scouts and Guides Udupi will keep this event on every last Sunday of the month. In Udupi we clean Indrali Railway Station. In Indrali Railway Station we pick up the Plastics around the Railway Station and the dry wastes which will be in the Railway Station. We also clean around the Raiway Station such as Parking Areas, Canteen premises etc. We started our service at 9:30 in the morning and ended at 12 in the noon. Hence we have worked 2.5 hours a day. We had gained a lot of knowledge and a great experience in this event.
