On 9th June, 2019, a group of students of Gomdar school has planted around 200 bamboo saplings along the Nyera ama chu. The bamboo saplings were contributed by the community of Gomdar gewog.

Objectives: To protect flood from stream located opposite to school (Khesingri).

To help in soil retaining

To make bamboo available in school in future to carryout necessary activities.
