# PLANTATION MATTERS ,SAVES LIFE AND SOUNDS RIGHT

Hi there , I am the founder , leader and organizer of events / projects of a registered youth club known as : 'LETS SAVE THE WORLD , FIJI'. I founded this club for many reasons like ; (to name a few) , promoting and creating awareness : on the ways to eradicate poverty / (Global Crisis ) / ways to mitigate the harmful effects of global warming and climate change / empowering young youths to explore their great potentials / encouraging and promoting civic pride / unemployment and self - employment / health / pandemics / personal safety / sustainability / Physical recreation / promoting the development of the community , nation and globe at large / helping and empowering weak and promoting 'peace'. As per our capacity and ability .

As per our aims and club constitution as a guide , the club is trying to instill and promote the spirit of giving back to the well being of the community , nation and the globe at large. Young youths are encouraged and empowered whereby , the club tries to promote inner engineering and exposure to experiences and skills. Youths are given opportunity to work in a group ( promoting team work ) and learning ways and methods of contributing to the nature conservation and other aspects / fields.

The projects are selected , keeping in mind the importance , needs and its effectiveness in the area of interest. The club major project was the plantation of (50,000) mangrove pods in three plantation events. Mangrove has a high rate of carbon consumption , reducing carbon foot print significantly and enormously. Youths , collected the pods by walking on foot (mainly) and many youths got injured like ; cuts by corals , broken bottles and others. Mangrove has a lot of benefits incorporated .

Mangrove plantation project was a great and a grand success. I learnt that nowadays good work comes with a lot of expenses , but after seeing such achievement it gives my club strength ,and high hope to overcome all challenges and to do more. Pods planted will not only assist in carbon emission but will also protect the community from strong waves and winds ( in cyclones) , it will also act as a habitat for many marine organisms maintaining a balance in food chain and also will create employment , for example ; fishing to sell and support the family (putting food on the table) respectively and accordingly.
