On the 23rd to 24th November 2019, scouts all over from the state of Penang volunteer themselves for the duty for Penang Bridge International Marathon 2019. All the scout volunteers gather themselves at the Penang Scout Headquarters on the 23rd November 2019 at 8:00pm. Before we depart to our stations, we listened to a briefing from the District Commissioner Mr. Oi Siou Hean. At 11:00pm, all the scout volunteers getting ready to depart to their respective stations. When my team and I reach our station, we arranged the tables and cups on the tables. After that, we poured the water which is divided into two categories, mineral water and isotonic drink. The marathon begins at 1:00am and our station starts to get bussier after that as we have to pour water for the runners. We also have to pick up the cups thrown by the runners and throw it into the rubbish bin. We finish our duty at 8:00am and we clean up the trash at our station. After cleaning up, we depart back to the Penang Scout Headquarters and we went back home safely.
