The Scouts of M.C.K.V. Scout Group and Don Bosco Mirpara Scout Group observed the International Volunteer Day with due fervor and zeal. With the mission of ‘Creating a Better World’ enshrined in their hearts, the Scouts set forth to help their fellow men in their daily activities. The activities included helping the blind, old and poor. They also helped the community by watering plants, cleaning their surroundings and preserving water and electricity. This was indeed an appreciable attempt. We hope that they will continue their ‘Actions of Peace’ and grow to be a true ‘Messenger of Peace’. The event was astutely and efficiently coordinated by Rajib Goswami, Adult Leader, Howrah District Association.
