Painting season

Painting season

I did this project along with 08 scouts from our college. This was done at the Kuppiyawatte burial ground on the 26th of November 2017. 1st I informed our scout masters about the project and the necessary permissions required to conduct the project. Then I formed a team which would be much easier to conduct the project. I was the project chairman. Project secretary, resource in-charge and food in-charge was appointed. I selected “Kuppiyawatte Burial ground & Masjid” was because I noticed that the environment was not satisfied by the people who come by. Also they did not have a clean surrounding which will win the hearts of the people passing by. Also there was lack of maintenance. Hence, I chose this place to give a helping hand and make this a comfortable place for the people. The objective of a community service project are to: • Build up a caring community • Promote the positive values of self-fulfillment • Utilize community resources • Enhance the sense of social belongings There were 08 scouts who engaged in this social service. • Ashfaaq Ahamed - project chairman • A. Basith - project secretary • Shihan - resource in-charge • Suban - food in-charge • Aashif • Shoaib • A. Razzak • Fouzul Haq The funds required to conduct my project was fulfilled within my family. Donations were given by grand-mother, uncle, cousin brother, sister and my father. We went to the project place the day before the project was done and kept all necessary items there.
