The Orange County Council Wood Badge course took time to help clean up and rehabilitate the orchard at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center. The orchard was damaged by the 2017 fire in the adjacent wilderness that encroached the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center's property. The Wood Badge course distributed special nutritional mulch and gleaned branches that had been damaged.
