Technical training institute samthang conducted the institute councillors election day by calling the expertise from the dzongkhag using EVM machine. Since Bhutan being the youngest democratic country in the world and started from 2008 onwards only. General public is not really aware about the election process and policy to maintain free and fair election of the leader.

This is sort of awareness program to the institute faculties and trainees, the experties given the verbal lecture to the general public regarding the election process and policies of Bhutan. Voters are also taught on how to use EVM machine.

The program started from 9.00am and complited at 2.30pm. total 160 members took parts in this program and we have elected eight leader to bridge the gap between institute management and the trainees. Finally institute invited the Lam spritual leader from the Wangdue Dzongkhag and Tashi khadar or scarf were awarded and followed by the oath taking ceremong by the lam.
