I selected Noguchi Child Development Centre, Pepiliyana, Sri Lanka. It is a home for boys with whose parents are serving long prison sentences. This is my project for the Messenger of Peace badge. The project I undertook consisted of, Restoring & Repairing recreational equipment & painting them Cleaning playground & planting trees. Treating the children at the home with lunch. On the 04th of June I got a person to attend to the repairs & welding of the damaged recreational equipment. A total of 10 friends & parents from my troop participated on the 05th of June to paint the equipment and clean the park and plant trees.
