Lake Mohave's Cottonwood Cove Clean-Up

Conservation Service Project. Webelos from Packs 700 and 129 joined Troop 700 Boy Scouts at the Lake Mead NRA's Lake Mohave Cottonwood Cove Upper Campgrounds. NPS Ranger Rick instructed a group of 16 Scouts and leaders on the importance of protecting native plant species, removing invasive species and conducting maintenance cleaning. Scouts spent their Saturday morning restoring the campgrounds by removing several tons of trash and plant debris!
