Inspiration Behind the Toilet Cleaning Initiative
The inspiration behind the toilet cleaning project stemmed from the desire to create a healthy, hygienic, and responsible school environment. We believe that this initiative will not only benefit the immediate school community but also contribute to the students' personal development and their understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
The project of cleaning the toilets for both boys and girls was implemented at Jangchubling Middle Secondary School. Scouts volunteer students were selected as participants for the cleaning program. These students were chosen based on their commitment to community service and their ability to work effectively as a team.
The cleaning initiative at Jangchubling School benefitted approximately 300 students. The activity aimed to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for all the students attending the school. The students directly experienced the positive effects of a cleaner and healthier toilet facility. Through this initiative, the students were able to enjoy improved hygiene standards, reduced risk of infections, and a more pleasant restroom experience.
Involving the Scouts volunteer students empowered them to take ownership of their school environment. They actively participated in the cleaning process, developing a sense of responsibility and pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic campus. To make the project even better, we can continue Implementing a regular cleaning schedule, perhaps on a monthly or quarterly basis, would help maintain the cleanliness of the toilets consistently. This would prevent any unhygienic conditions.
