Our volunteers carefully packed and gift wrapped over 100 shoe boxes filled with individually wrapped, ready to eat food items that were distributed to area homeless at a banquet hosted by The Samaritans. Our Pack also donated 500 euros worth of food items to the Samaritans food pantry. An additional donation of approx. 300 euros worth of bulk food items was given to the Nativitas food pantry. Scouts rallied the community for food items and contact local stores to pitch in and help as well collecting well over 1500 euros worth of food items and wrapping paper. It was a wildly successful event that had an immediate and lasting impact on our community and we plan to include this as an annual event on our planning calendar.
