Hajj Return Flight VolunteerParticipation 2025
I was inspired to participate in the Hajj camp by my strong desire to serve people, especially on such an important and sacred journey. Most of the pilgrims are elderly and not very experienced in the Hajj process, so ensuring their safety, comfort and support was a valuable opportunity for me. The opportunity to participate in practical service activities with my Scout friends also inspired me.
We helped the pilgrims at the Witr at the international airport. We tried to help as much as we could in each shift. We helped the pilgrims for 8 hours in each shift. I was in charge of distributing Zamzam water to the pilgrims. I would give them 5 liter water bottles in their trolleys and tell them which gate to exit through.
In this way, I would continue to work by sharing different tasks with my scout companions every day.
Working with a variety of people has enhanced my communication skills and teamwork experience. I have gained the ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations. I have developed empathy for people, patience, and servant leadership qualities through this experience.
