EKTA DIWAS 2025
Our project, the observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2025 (National Unity Day), was born from a deep-seated commitment to upholding the unity, integrity, and security of India. Our primary motivation was to pay tribute to the monumental legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th Birth Anniversary.
The observance was executed in two main, high-impact stages on October 31, 2025: The Solemn Pledge: All participants gathered at the DRM's Office for the formal 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge' to publicly reaffirm their commitment to national unity, integrity, and security. The Unity Run: Immediately afterward, the event became active with a highly visible UNITY RUN starting from the DRM Building and finishing at the Divisional Stadium, symbolizing collective momentum and social cohesion.
Action is Unity's Catalyst: Symbolic participation, like the 'UNITY RUN', proved more effective in building morale and cohesion than simple messaging. Logistics Need Total Buy-in: Successful execution of a multi-location event requires seamless inter-departmental cooperation and advance planning for safety and flow. History Empowers Purpose: Connecting the event to the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Patel strengthened employees' sense of national purpose and institutional pride.
